This meeting consisted of  three presentations:

1.  John Piatt - A shift in the small mesh trawl catch composition in the 1970s and potential ramifications for marine mammal and marine bird populations of the Gulf of Alaska

2.  Ric Brodeur - The 1998 Bering Sea coccolithophore bloom

3. Nate Mantua - More on the atmospheric and oceanic changes in the North Pacific since 1989.

There was considerable talk afterwards about management of fisheries and its import vis a vis climate impacts.  the focus of this group may swing that way.
