Here is how to cite the Oregon Production Index data.

The first nine years, 1961-1969 are from

McGie, A.M. 1984. Evidence for density dependence among coho salmon in the Oregon Production Area.  P. 19-23, In, The Influence of Ocean Conditions on the Production of Salmonids in the North Pacific.  W.  G. Pearcy (ed.) Oregon State Univ. Sea Grant College Prog.  ORESU-W-83-001, combined with data from Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife on catches of wild coho to obtain adult production of OPI public hatchery fish (OPIH).

For the years 1970 to present, the data are included in The Pacific Fishery Management Council Preseason Report 1.  Stock Abundance Analysis for 1997.  Ocean Salmon Fisheries.  Feb. 1997.  Appendices B-2 and B-3.

These references should be cited for any publiction of these data.  Another, data-set with similar numbers for OPIH are found in:  Emlen, J,M., R.R. Reisenbichler, A.M. McGie, and T.E. Nickelson. 1990.  Density-dependence at sea for coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch).  Can. J. Fish Aquat. Sci. 47:1765-1772.
