North Washington Coast Sport Halibut Fishery to Re-Open
June 18 through 21
The north Washington coast sport halibut
fishery (Sekiu River to the Queets River) is scheduled to reopen on June
18, 2003. Preliminary estimates of the harvest taken through May 24 indicate
that 31,854 pounds remain in the area quota of 113,915 pounds. Accordingly,
the north Washington coast sport halibut sport fishery will close on June
21, 2003.
