The Columbia River all-depth sport halibut fishery closed June 2, 2015 with an estimated harvest of 9,150 pounds. The remaining 604 pounds have been shifted to the Columbia River nearshore subarea (Marine Area 1 in Washington), resulting in 1,104 pounds left to be harvested. This represents sufficient quota to extend the open days for this fishery from three days per week to seven days per week. This change is effective June 15, 2015.
