Pending an overhaul of the logbook data from the 1970s, the assessment uses legacy data for the years 1974-1980.

This data file contains uncorrected J-hook CPUE through 1982. (The fleet converted to C-hooks in 1983.) In the assessment, J-hook CPUE is usually multiplied by 2.2 to make it equivalent to C-hook CPUE.
