Vessel License Application for the 2012 Area 2A Halibut Fishery
Vessels in Alaska and British Columbia no longer need a license from the IPHC. Federal and State licensing requirements, though, must still be fulfilled.
Please be aware of the following policy change when submitting your application:
Applications must be signed by the vessel owner. Applications completed and signed by the vessel captain, if different from the owner, will not be processed.
NOTE: If you made a commercial landing or held an IPHC Sport Charter License last year, you will automatically be mailed a renewal form.
NOTE: Incidental commercial (salmon troll) license applications must me postmarked or faxed no later than April 2, 2012. Directed commercial and/or incidental commercial during longline sablefish fishery license applications must be postmarked or faxed no later than April 30, 2012. There is no deadline for sport charter vessel licenses.
