Some more pictures of Fleetwood

You can see the opened forward window, the cockpit door and cockpit window are open as well. Child is standing, with adult sitting on folding chair in cockpit. Captain (that's me!) leaning out window by forward steering station.

This is at a haulout. Stainless rudder visible at bottom with circular zinc. Swim step with bronze supports and quality kicker bracket with cutout in swimstep to accomodate lower unit on kicker moter.

This is an overhead view, showing the bench just aft of the cabin bulkhead. The lid hinges up for access to the twin batteries, battery selector switch, and reverse gear. The white box around all this is L shaped, and unhooks and lifts out for access. The combing around the cockpit is nice and high, which alllows an adult to rest against it without fear of overbalancing and makes a real safe site for the little ones. Cabin door is open in this picture, you can just see the top and side of the engine box looking through the doorway..

This is a cheater shot, with the camera held just inside the leading edge of the forward window. Shows (left to right) bronze bracket holding window open, compass and video sounder, opened stbd side window, dinnet table (folds down to bed), adult is sitting on engine box. Notice also the mahogany trim on the lip of the instrument panel, and the grey speckled formica on the table. The area behind the child's head, the lid of the engine box, and the galley area are also done in grey formica. The mahogany trim is continued on the inside below the side windows, as an edging around the table and the outer edge of the galley formica, as well as around the top edge of the engine box. The entire engine box can be removed from the cabin for access to the engine.

this shot was taken at the end of a two week trip to the islands. Note anchor stored in chocks on foredeck, hatch on forward cabin is just visible in front of windshield, also mahogany opening windshield in front of steering station. On roof is visible searchlight, with mooring cover gathered around it, as well as mouth of CO2 air horn and VHf antenna.
